The Commonwealth War Graves Commission Of the 379 CWGC burials or cremations in the whole
of Cyprus, the majority, 213 graves, all from the Second World War, are located in the Nicosia War
Cemetery. There are also 73 names on the Nicosia Cremation Memorial and 58 names on the Cyprus
(Nicosia) Memorial commemorating the dead of the Cyprus Regiment and Cyprus Volunteer Force.

killed on active service during the Cyprus Emergency 1955-1959 and are now buried at Wayne’s Keep
Cemetery (as well as being commemorated on the British Cyprus Memorial in The Old British Cemetery,
