Violet Amelia Brightwell, daughter of a sergeant in the 35th Royal Sussex Regiment, died 23 October 1880, and

buried at St Nicholas Cemetery, Limassol, amongst other British graves dating to 1879. It is probable that Sergeant
Dickenson RE was buried near here in 1882.
