Approaching Kyrenia on the road from Nicosia, turn left at the first roundabout on the edge of the town

and the cemetery will be found approximately 100 metres further along this busy main road, on the left
hand side.1 There is no dedicated parking space. Its location can also be visualised through Google Earth

via a direct link from The War Graves Photographic Project website.

The Cemetery in Context

‘This is the story of a graveyard, not old as such places go, but representative of a colourful microcosm of the
now vanished British Empire. This is the final resting place for one hundred and forty five individuals, many

of whom served their country in remote corners of the world.’ 2
