The Victoria Cross Grave

This cemetery’s major claim to fame is the presence of the grave of the only Victoria Cross

recipient to have died in Cyprus, with its connection to the very first day (22 July 1878) that
British soldiers landed in Cyprus (though the Royal Navy and Marines got there before them!).
