First World War Graves
This cemetery has two burials from the First World War, with headstones provided by and maintained by
the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. They are:
Driver Robert Henry Stubbs, Army Service Corps, died 2 December 1917
Private Robert Howare, Royal Scots, died 2 July 1918. He would have been serving with the 1st Garrison
Battalion Royal Scots, guarding Turkish prisoners of war from the Gallipoli campaign, and he probably
died of influenza, as did others of his battalion now buried in Famagusta and Troodos military cemeteries.
