LIFE
Past, present and future...
Once again, so much to see and do in our area – go for an adventure!
In 1597 Sir Thomas Tresham started work
on a new lodge at Lyveden. The estate has evolved and in 2013 the National Trust bought Lyveden Manor to add to the property. We are so lucky to have this incredibly beautiful place with it’s peaceful meadows and moat on our doorstep. Why not pack a picnic and discover Lyveden’s tranquil spaces (page 9)?
The Q&A this month is taken by a well established high street business – Davis Optometrists. Whether you need an eye test to update your prescription, new glasses or even contact lenses, these friendly people will guide
you with your choices. With sunny days making an appearance, maybe a cool pair of sunglasses would make a fabulous new accessory (page 6).
Bethan from 1st Thrapston Guides made
her trip to the Isle of Man, thanks to the lovely people of Thrapston helping her raise the money by buying cakes at her bake sale. The photographs prove that she had a fantastic time, with blue skies and adventure (page 14).
