                                WHAT’S ON
In and Around Oundle
Coffee, Cakes, Chatter & More
A pop-up café opens again in Cotterstock Village Hall, PE8 5HD on Monday 5th February from 10am to 12 noon. Drop in whenever you like, there will be a lovely selection of cakes and bakes to enjoy.
If you choose to stay for the last 30 minutes, Elizabeth Ward will lead a chair yoga session. It’s a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair. Benefits of chair yoga can include improved flexibility, better concentration, increased strength, a boost to your mood, reduced stress and joint strain. Elizabeth
is a qualified, patient, compassionate and welcoming yoga teacher.
This is a not-for-profit venture which is why the cost is amazingly just £3 (cash only) for any or all of a drink, cake and the chair yoga session too. Everyone will be very warmly welcomed.
   Farmers’ Market
Oundle Farmers’ Market is held in the Market Place on the second Saturday each month between 8am and 2.15pm.
The market supplies a wide range of fresh, local produce including meat,
fish, eggs, cheese, sourdough, vegan baked goods, Turkish street food, stuffed flatbreads, pies, cakes, hog roast, locally roasted coffee and much more. There’s lots on offer to tempt you and all the stall holders are ready to answer any questions you have about their goods.
Why not make a day of it and visit one of our many independent cafes, shops and restaurants, take a stroll along the River Nene or follow our heritage trail? With free car parks, a convenient and regular bus route (X4) there is lots to enjoy. Look at loveOundle.org or visit Oundle.gov.uk for more information about the stall holders.

    Banking at Oundle Library
When Barclays Bank closed in Oundle last year it left customers with the nearest branches being either Peterborough (14 miles) or Kettering (17 miles).
But Barclays does now offer a Customer Service drop-in at Oundle Library every week. An adviser is at the library on Monday and Friday, from 9am to 5pm (closed 12.30pm to 1.30pm). They won’t deal with cash of course, but they can help you with other banking matters.
You can pre-book an appointment online at www.barclays.co.uk/branch- finder/ or drop in to Oundle Library when the adviser is there.
