When we returned in January we started on a full programme of activities. The Beavers did some mini pioneering, and the Cubs did Environmental Conservation.
We are looking for adults to help in the Beaver and Scout sections
scouting family. We want to be able to offer scouting to 10 to 14-year-olds but we need your help. We need adult volunteers to help us run this section. It would be at the Primary School on a Wednesday evening, and would run from 7.30pm to 8.45pm.

In February we had a visit from
Thrapston Farmers Market, who gave
a donation of £500 to the group so that
we can purchase craft and camping equipment. We would like to thank them for their donation.
As a group we help in many ways, and we currently have a volunteer helping us as part of her ‘Duke of Edinburgh Award’. She is helping in our Cub section and getting involved in many of the activities.
As a group we have a Beaver section (6 to 8 years) and a Cub section (8 to 10 years), there
is another section Scouts (10 to 14 years). At present we don’t currently run this section as we need volunteers to help run it.
We are a growing group that relies
on volunteers to help run the sections. We are looking for adults to help in the Beaver and Scout sections. We also need volunteers to go onto our executive committee. We have roles to fit every lifestyle and skillset with all the relevant training provided.
