HOLY TRIDUUM
The celebration of the Triduum, three days,
is the heart of the Liturgical Year. It is one celebration that is spread over three days. It starts on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Supper of the Lord, when Christ gave us the rules of how to celebrate his sacrifice of the Cross in the Eucharist. The Good Friday follows with the celebration of the Passion of the Lord with the Adoration of the Holy Cross. The Triduum is concluded by the solemn celebration of the Easter Vigil during the Holy Night on Holy Saturday evening after the sunset. The Holy Triduum reminds us of the importance of Jesus salvific action in dying for our sins so we can rise with him into new life.
The Triduum will be celebrated for all parishioners in The Most Holy Name of Jesus Church, Oundle

QUARANTORE
Forty Hours with the Lord
The Quarantore devotion reminds us of the paramount importance of the Most Holy Eucharist in the life of the Church. For forty hours, spread over four days, we will have the opportunity to adore the Lord Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist in his body, blood, soul and divinity. During these days of grace, we will have a big variety of devotions and opportunity to listen and meditate upon the Word of God and the teachings of the Church. Confession slots will be available too. St Paul the Apostle, Thrapston Sunday 26th March 4pm-8pm,
