For the rest of January and probably all of February there will be no services at St. Nicholas while the roof is being replaced. All are welcome to other services across the benefice, or the opportunity may be used to visit other churches and experience other types of services. If you would like a lift or just company please contact any of the team.

Charities: over the Christmas period a variety of collections were made:
Safe until Daylight received £215.25 from the Carol service Collection.
The Church of England Children’s Society received £159.75 from the Christingle service. Open Doors received £103.50 from the Christmas Day service.
Cransley Hospice benefitted from the Carol singing collection but as yet we have not been given the total.
Thanks should be given to Hazel Stimpson and Denise Wright who raised £166.00 at the The Cock Inn’s Shopping Event.

Following our most successful Christmas Tree Festival in December we are very grateful to Jan and all the team for their hard work before, during and after the event and for all who supported us in any way. We have raised over a thousand pounds so far. A great result! The winning tree was The Grand old Duke of York.

CARMEN RETURNS TO THRAPSTON PLAZA!
Thrapston Plaza Opera are putting on a fully staged performance of ‘Carmen’ with orchestra. Licensed Bar. Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th and Friday 21st February at 7.00pm and Saturday 22nd February at 5.00pm.
