BEVERLEY ARMED FORCES DAY – LECONFIELD
We were delighted to attend the Beverley Armed Forces Day at Leconfield. Our new Gazebo, sponsored by the Hull Maritime Museum, was set up
and we welcomed visitors. I am pleased to say that our Gazebo withstood the high winds longer
than some other representatives who had to take theirs down!
A good day meeting/ chatting with Army personnel and cadets from the past who have gone on to forge successful careers not only in the Military but also the Police.
Surprising who you meet at these events!

The Lord Mayor asked to visit the Unit to present the Badge which gave him the opportunity of meeting the other cadets and some parents who were at the Unit for other presentations.
