TRIUMPH & TEAM SPIRIT
A GLORIOUS DAY AT THE NATIONAL COMBINED REGATTA
London's Excel Centre was the epicentre of aquatic excitement on a sunny Saturday as athletes from across the nation gathered for the National Combined Regatta. It was a day filled with adrenaline-pumping races, camaraderie, and a strong sense of accomplishment. Our team left an indelible mark on this prestigious event, securing a collection of medals and accolades that left everyone beaming with pride.
The Junior Boys Rowing Team set the stage on
fire with an awe-inspiring performance, clinching the coveted Gold medal. Their determination, grit, and hours of tireless training paid off in the most spectacular way, making them true champions of the regatta. The crowd erupted in applause as they stood atop the podium, their smiles as bright as the London sun.
In the Open Single Yole category, our representative gave their all, earning a well-deserved Silver medal. Their precision and technique on the water were truly remarkable, and their accomplishment is a testament to their dedication and hard work.
The Open Mixed Yole and Junior Mixed Yole teams also made us proud by securing Bronze
medals. Their synchronized efforts in
these demanding races were nothing
short of exceptional, and they showed the true spirit of teamwork.
Rowing Boat Handling proved to be another area of success, with our team earning another Bronze. This event demands not only physical prowess but also the finesse to navigate
the watercraft effectively, and our team demonstrated their expertise admirably.
