Scaffold Safety
• A survey must be made of the job site prior to the erection of the scaffold. Hazards, such as un‐ tamped earth fills, ditches, debris, overhead wires, unguarded openings and other conditions need to be identified, corrected, or avoided. Scaffolds must be inspected daily or at the • beginning of each shift by a competent person.
