Safety Memo #33 (C) – Cal/OSHA Recommendation for Face Coverings Indoors

[ Cal/OSHA Recommendation for Face Coverings Indoors ]

Due to the recent increase in positive COVID-19 cases, ACI would like to strongly encourage all of our
employees to wear a face covering or mask while indoors whether you are vaccinated or not, especially
while in shared spaces and when social distancing is not possible. Cal/OSHA sent out a News Release on
August 25, 2021 recommending the same to California’s workers as quoted below:

“…as a best practice, Cal/OSHA encourages employers and workers to follow the recent update from the
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recommending that all individuals wear face coverings

while indoors regardless of vaccination status.”
