LIGHTENING NEVER-COLORED NATURAL HAIR BY MORE THAN FOUR
LEVELS
Having to lighten hair by more than 4 levels, to obtain very light colors, it is first necessary to
bleach it to reach the base level ideal for the color to be achieved; then the hair will be
recolored with the cosmetic color matching the desired color both in level and reflect.
COLOR CHANGE OF COLORED HAIR
Note, first of all, that oxidization colors cannot lighten (remove color from) hair that is already
colored (color can not eliminate color!). NOTE: Nouvelle’s Color Back product is very effective
when used to remove “box” colors.
To obtain a lighter color it is first necessary to remove the previous color. This type of
intervention (technically called "COLOR REMOVAL") is used to remove cosmetic shades and
achieve a level of lightening so that the result will be lighter than the cosmetic shade that will
be applied.
