CRUSH INJURY
Treatment for a casualty who has been crushed for
LESS than 15 minutes
• If it’s possible, release the casualty from the crush
as soon as you can
• Remember your First Aid priorities and treat appropriately: - Breathing
- Bleeding
- Burns and breaks
• Treatment for shock
• Call 999/112 for an ambulance
