TREATMENT OF A STROKE
• If the casualty is responsive - lay them down and raise their head and shoulders
• Turn their head to one side
• If the casualty is unresponsive, place them
in the recovery position injured side down
• Loosen tight clothing
• Reassure and call 999/112
• Monitor airway, breathing and response levels • Be prepared to resuscitate
