MINOR CUTS AND GRAZES
Seek medical help if:
• You think there is damage to deeper tissue • The wound is at risk of becoming infected
• The wound has been infected
• The wound will create an unwelcome scar
TETANUS IMMUNISATION
If the wound has been contaminated by dirt or soil, then it is advisable to ask the casualty about their history of tetanus immunisation and to get immunised if appropriate.
