underrepresented. Despite this, AVID students beat the odds.
u 93% complete entrance requirements for four-year colleges due to their AVID support network
u 90% of students who apply to four-year colleges are accepted
u 85% of students continue into their second year of college because they have the
skill set to be successful
I am an AVID trained tutor, elective teacher, and middle school summer science (Mission Bridge) program teacher. I have also ran the after-school tutoring program for AVID. I am thrilled that Faribault is using strategies in their classrooms 2-12 in addition to elective classes at the secondary level.
