u Fannie Lou Hamer is one of the strongest and most influential women in our country’s history. In an effort to preserve all of our history; I have planned and/or assisted on two separate student trips to explore important civil rights areas in the southern United States. We also explored part of the Mississippi Blues Trail. I would love to teach an academic seminar on one of the in-depth topics I have experienced on these trips!
