Online Safety Training for Schools
Online Safety within Safeguarding is certainly now very much 'standalone' and requires specific training
/ workshops for the Whole School, staff, pupils & parents. Here in UK it is now mandatory for schools
to have this training which includes any school under the UK Curriculum and international or overseas
inspection. That said, Online Safety is also of paramount importance irrespective of country as all
children, teenagers and young adults use devices, social media / apps / gaming which can have a massive
impact on their future goals and targets (CyberVetting for Employment & Universities). UpToDate
Online Safety training / workshops pending any possible inspection by Ofsted or the Independent
Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
