The business began in 1870 by George

Cassaday’s great-great grandfather.

Originally it was a small family farm

consisti ng of chickens, eggs, and hay

to sustain the Cassaday family’s needs.

The farm later grew to include fruits

and vegetables that were marketed to

Cassaday customers. Now, over 149

years later, Cassaday Farms runs on

four generati ons of grassroots knowl-

edge and locally grown goodness.
