Fifthly, the Airport Emergency Service (AES). It is slightly different from the RCC as they handle abnormal operations and emergencies at the airport itself, while RCC handles emergencies outside of the airport. Did you know that they only have 2 to 3 minutes to respond to any emergency? Due to this, AES is located at the airport itself!
The AES is putting out a fire at the terminal building!
FUN FACT:
ICAO has a Rescue and Fire Fighting Service category that ranges from Cat 1 to Cat 10. Our very own Changi Airport has obtained a Cat 10, meaning that our airport is very well equipped with the appropriate facilities to conduct firefighting!
Lastly, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore. They control ship movements and handle all information about ships! They assist RCC for Search and Rescue operations within the Singapore FIR.
