There are various types of safety and security measures
taken by the airport. The most common security measure is the screening of passengers, baggage and cargo.
Security screening is conducted at airports to identify and remove threats that may endanger the safety of aircraft and passengers or crew on board.
Passengers Screening is conducted before boarding a plane. Passengers have to go through screening to ensure that they do not carry any items that may be used to put the safety of civil aviation and air transport at risk.
eXAMPLES OF SUCH ITEMS ARE WEAPONS AND EXPLOSIVES
Passenger screening is usually done by manual searches, metal detectors or body scanners.
