 TYPES OF AIRLINES
Under the 2 categories there are even more specific types of airline services!
First, let’s take a look at the Full Service Carriers (FSC).
They are large airlines and they usually fly to hub airports (as learnt in Chapter 3) and serve big busy international cities such as New York City in America, London in United Kingdom and Paris in France.
I can take you to busy cities like
New York and Paris!
I provide you with a wide range of services!
Full Service means that a full variety of services is provided for its customers. To simply put, when you fly with a Full Service Carrier, the amount of money you pay for the air ticket will not only cover a guaranteed seat in the plane but also cover a variety of services (e.g. provision of food and beverages) during
the flight. Furthermore, the ticket price is usually higher than any other type of airline!
Some examples are Singapore Airlines and Delta Airlines.
