4th Freedom of the Air: The right granted by one country to another country to carry traffic, in the territory of the 1st Country destined for home state of the carrier.

    5th Freedom of the Air: The right granted by one Country to another Country to drop-off and take on, in the territory of the 1st country, traffic coming from or destined to a 3rd country.

       For example: The aircraft lands at Malaysia and all the passengers transferring to other flights will disembark the aircraft while passengers travelling to Thailand will board the aircraft.
The 1st and 2nd Freedoms of the Air are known as technical freedoms while the 3rd to 5th are known as commercial freedoms. These first 5 Freedoms of the Air are officially recognized by ICAO and used in most countries. The remaining Freedoms of the Air are additional rights!
