The next 2 freedoms are for larger countries with that has multiple airports in the country. (Singapore has 2 airports but no one in their right mind would travel to Changi Airport from Seletar airport by air when it is only a 15 minutes drive!)
8th Freedom of the Air: The right granted for an airline to carry passengers from one point in the territory of a country to another point within the same country on a flight that originates in the airline’s home country.
Home Country a Country a
       For example: Passengers from Singapore who wish to travel to the island of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia but there is no direct flight so they have to make a transfer at Kuala Lumpur.
9th Freedom of the Air: The right granted for an airline from a particular country to originate a flight in a foreign country and carry passengers from one point to another within the foreign country.
