since we only had lessons on 4.5 days the number of subjects that could be offered was always going to be limited. Actually, the Boys School did even fewer O-levels than we did at the time - most of them only took 5 exams and then went on to A-levels. Keep the memories coming!

Hi everyone - what a lovely day! Heard the woodpecker drilling away happily in the woods behind the field behind the house. We live down a track about 4 miles from the centre of Malvern. There is our garden and then some woods and then the slow incline up the beginnings of the lower slopes of the Malverns. Our view from the back is of the southern range of the hills and usually at night we can see the car headlights as they come round down the hills with British Camp on the left as you look up towards them - however when I have looked out at night recently no headlights at all. In fact, it is all pretty dark up there with no cyclists' headlights on the tracks.
Today I feel as though I have done something good for a local garden centre - it probably only was on Midlands News but they are trashing the plants grown for the season as the garden centres are closed at present. A local on-line plant business has taken stock from a Worcester nursery and is selling it on line. I ordered a selection and they have arrived today. Their delivery area is very limited but looking at my plants I feel rather pleased with myself that I have saved 5 plants and helped a business out.
I don't remember 12th Night but I do remember Tom Sawyer and I think we might have done David Copperfield with LIVE -- might be wrong though!
Mrs D'Arcy was great - it took a while for find out that the funny smiling line in the margins was because she found something good/funny. Yes, she only came in our 6th form years.
