The other three relate to what I felt was a moment of (geeky) sweet triumph-at last winning back the Rotary Club debating cup from QE Boys.
Our team was Me, Vicky and Kate Tait; Hilary Hubbard, Hilary Shears and Eleanor Brett. And in my foolish heady moment of victory, I
wanted to take the cup to the pub as the boys' team traditionally did after their victories; this was firmly sat upon by Miss Bryan who quickly locked the cup away.
