Hello Ann,
I had no idea you had made such a splash in your first year at QEGGS. Am mighty impressed. To have beaten the boys’ school too! Fantastic.
Strange that I can’t remember that particular Founders Day service, though the annual walk we all had to do in pairs to Barnet Parish Church in uniform with those straw boaters on our heads did make a lasting impression.

I have no memory of the 75th Foundation Day service either!! However, I do have the 75th
Anniversary School Magazine with all our A level results in it!
A lovely idea to mention The Queen’s Visit. I have a very extensive newspaper article on the visit.
I have other bit and pieces that I need to dispatch to the QE Archives, like the letter asking my mother to bring me for an Oral Test, or they will be lost for ever!
