2. A qualified legal practitioner registered with the Law Society of Zimbabwe
The desired persons who should possess the following strategic attributes, should
provide their independent expertise on the Board and will also serve on other sub-
committees of the Board: A recognized higher qualification in the respective area of
specialty and a minimum of 8 years traceable professional experience; Experience or
passion for women’s rights and access to justice for vulnerable women; Has served on
other Boards or has demonstrable understanding of Board procedures and
responsibilities especially for NPOs; Provable experience in resource mobilisation,
strategic leadership and innovation; Commitment to building the vision of the
organisation and attending meetings

Feminist Leadership School
Deadline: 15 November 2018
Are you a Zimbabwean young woman passionate about women’s emancipation and
ready to take the women’s struggle further? Are you interested in shaping your feminist
vision, strengthening and building your feminist identity?
A vibrant feminist organisation in Zimbabwe is excited to publish this call for applications
for a Feminist Leadership School for young women between the ages of 15-35 to be
conducted in November 2018. The theme of the school is: Contextualizing and
Reinforcing Zimbabwean Feminism among young women and girls. The Feminist
Leadership School aims at strengthening the existing Zimbabwean Feminist identity
amongst young women and girls.
Interested participants are invited to apply by submitting a letter of motivation that
describes why they identify themselves as young feminists (one page).
All expenses associated with this Feminist School will be covered by the hosting
organisation.
