Gapur
Smocky black Stallion Gapur was born in the world-famous Akhal-teke studfarm – Stavropol, Russia. His
pedigree combined many very important horses for Akhal-teke breed. His father Pudok was widely used
in Russia and Turkmenistan and produced such famous horses like Platina, Oprava, Arab, Yazpolad, Peren
2nd and of course symbol of Turkmenistan – stallion Piyada. His daughters Oprava and Platina gave many
Champions of breed in Russia – such as Garausup, Orazserdar, Palvan, Paykhasli, Plastika. Gapur is semibrother
of twice Champion of Russia – mare Gulgadam, who in combination with stallion Murgab produced such great
Champions as Gench, Geldybatyr, Tykma-Serdar and Garami.
By his mother Greza he is also grandson of great jumper Glazok and is nephew of mare Pampa, which was
mother of such Champions as Pamyk, Pehimdar, Pirakhmed, Primula and Prokhlada.
Gapur is medium size stallion, with typical dry head, long neck with good nape. He raced in Pyatigorsk and
Elista as young horse and showed medium result, then he was sold to Europe and was used as sire too few. It is
really shame, that stallion with such great pedigree had so few offspring, but also with such small quantity of
foals, they was estimated very high by experts. His foals - Garmisil, Gadym and Sabyrly got very high estimation
from Akhal-teke registrars and also was winners in European Akhal-teke Championship 2014 in Germany.
