Other great memories include the regular visits to Club Rockley Barbados by the great magician, the late Paul Daniels, and his lovely assistant, and wife, Debbie McGee. On his first visit, Paul did a great Cabaret spot for the lucky guests, and I did the “warm up” spot for him a special moment for me because Paul was at the time the number one Magician in the UK with a weekly TV show with an audience into several millions and I have been a member of the Magic Circle and the International Brotherhood of Magicians from a very young age and worked as a pro at Sandy Lane and the Hilton Hotel for several years. In this photo I am adjusting the microphone for Paul, who was a much shorter chap than I and who was busy making some appropriate jokes as I somewhat hastily adjusted things!
