                  Constable (GD) Manikandan P of 19  Bn, SSB,

           Thakurganj was posted at BOP Singhimari of 19th

           Bn SSB. On 07.03.2020 while he was performing his


           duties in the AOR of BOP Singhimari when he was

           attached by cattle smugglers. He sustained serious


           injury in the attack, due to which he lost his life on


           05.06.2020 of Paramount Hospital, Siliguri.
