ii. Governance and Organisational Structure
The ATP has a governance structure consistent with its vision, mission and objectives and adequate mechanisms to involve relevant stakeholders in the definition of its standards and criteria. The composition of the decision- making body and/or its regulatory framework ensure its independence and impartiality. The organisational structure of the ATP makes it possible to carry out its training programme review processes effectively and efficiently. The ATP also has a strategic plan that helps it assess its progress and plan for future developments
iii. Legitimacy and Recognition
The ATP has an established legal basis and is recognised by the Commission of Companies of the respective countries. The ATP takes into consideration relevant guidelines issued by Malaysian common legal system, including CIDB in formulating its policies and practices. The ATP also has a clear and published policy for the prevention of conflicts of interest that applies to its staff, its decision-making body, as well as the external reviewers.
iv. Resources
The ATP has well-trained and qualified staff who are able to conduct internal evaluation effectively and efficiently in accordance with its vision
