Code of Practice for Training Programme Accreditation
4.1.3 Full Accreditation
The full accreditation is a process to recognise that the design, development and delivery of a recurring training programme provided by the ATP meet the criteria and standards and are in compliance with the CIQF and requirements of CIDB. This process takes twelve (12) weeks upon submission of a complete and accurate application. The full accreditation status is valid for two (2) years. The ATP is required to apply for reaccreditation at least three (3) months before the expiry of the validity period.
The scope of provisional and full accreditation includes training programmes coordinated but not owned by the ATP. However, consideration may be given to training programmes that fall beyond these parameters.
A training programme submitted for full accreditation and which meets the essential criteria described in the criteria and standards will be awarded a Certificate of Accreditation by CIDB. The full accreditation status means that the accredited training programmes are of a high quality that meets the specific level of competencies within a particular job level and job family.
