ii. provide advice and feedback on the training programme accreditation processes/compliance exercises and procedures that will lead to the continuous improvement and enhanced quality of training programmes in the construction industry;
iii. highlight quality aspects which may require attention that would help the ATP in its efforts to design, develop and deliver training programmes effectively; and
iv. reach a judgment.
5.4 The Accreditation Report
The Accreditation Report outlines the findings, commendations and areas of concern of the Panel of Accreditation (PA). The PA comes to its conclusions through its interpretation of the specific evidence it has gathered and the seriousness of the areas of concern is determined by the evidence.
The Accreditation Report should not contain vague or unsubstantiated statements. Firm views are categorically stated, avoiding excessive subtlety. The Report also does not comment on individuals nor appeal to irrelevant standards.
The findings of the PA include the identification of commendable practices observed in the ATP and the department, and the Report draws
