Dependent Care FSA
Administered by HealthEquity (Formerly WageWorks)
Like the Healthcare FSA, through convenient payroll deduction, you can set aside an annual amount on a pre-tax basis in a Dependent Care FSA, and save money. You can use your Dependent Care Account to pay for work-related* care for your eligible dependents:
• Your qualifying child* – under the age of 13.
• Your spouse, or a qualifying child or relative* – who is physically or
mentally incapable of self-care.
Go to wageworks.com/forms/dcdependents.pdf and go through the tests to determine eligibility.
With a dependent care account, you can pay for qualified expenses incurred while you and your spouse work:
Easy Payment Options
HealthEquity offers you several easy ways to use the money in your FSA to pay your eligible dependent care expenses.
• Pay My Provider. Pay bills directly from your FSA account through the Pay My Provider link at WageWorks.com.
• Pay Me Back. Send in traditional claims to HealthEquity for quick reimbursement from your FSA.
Use the Dependent Care FSA for eligible "daycare-related" expenses.
  Examples of Eligible Expenses
• Babysitting or au pair services
• Before- and after-school programs
• Day care and nursery schools
• Preschool programs
• Elder care services while you work
Go to wageworks.com/employee/dependent-care/eligible-expenses.htm for a complete list of covered expenses.
You will only have access to the dependent care funds that have been deducted from your paycheck each pay period. If your claim amount is more than what you have in your dependent care account HealthEquity will reimburse you up to the amount that is in your account and pend the rest of your claim until your account is funded from future paychecks.
