Disability insurance provides protection for your most valuable asset — your ability to earn an income. ABC Company provides newly eligible team members with the ability to elect Long Term Disability insurance coverage.This plan pays a bene t if you are unable to work due to a non-work related illness or injury. Insurance pays a bene t in the event of long-term illness or injury up to the maximum allowable amount.
» Newly eligible team members with the ability to elect LTD: You may elect a monthly bene t equal to 60% of your covered earnings, up to a maximum bene t of $7,500 per month. This bene t pays a portion of your income if you continue to be disable and your short-term disability bene ts end. To quality you must be disabled for 180 continuous days.
