Healthcare FSA Update:
Wage Works
The recently passed federal CARES Act will now allow covered members/dependents to use FSA funds to pay for “Over the Counter” (OTC) drugs/ medicines without the need for a prescription. This is effective for expenses incurred on or after January 1, 2020 and will be a permanent change. Menstrual care products are now also included as an eligible OTC item.
