                                           JUST BELIEVE IN YOUR POTENTIALS

hen you believe in yourself, your personal potentials, and
in your own future, surrendering is not an option. There's
Wnothing else to do but continue. Sometimes, you might
feel like giving up. But you can't. Something deep inside you just
won't let you. Some of the things you
should know once you are admitted
are: no white flag; no bailing out; no
throwing in the towel. You just have I shall not wait
to keep moving. You must carry on. until eternity to do
You must take the next and wisest what must be done
                                           step. because there is no
                                                                                     “can't”. Where I
I was able to take whatever came my come from, I am
way because I believed that I had as constant as the
heard the shout, “I can” every day. sun, I do believe
When all hope was lost, and it seemed that the world is
that I was undergoing the stress of not to blame for
strife, I would still lift up my chin and my grief and
           chase my dreams. worries...I bravely
                                                                                     walk along a path
As I'm about to end my stay at GISS, I would like to say a very big thank I call my own and
you to my pals –Ukaigwe Chidera, Obi Obimtochukwu, Ubah not a step do I take
Chikamso, Mgbemena Ebube, Uzonwanne Vincent, Okpala Treasure, in fear.
Willz (my seatie), Kene, Adaeze and a host of other of friends. I would
also like to thank in a special way MY BIG BROTHER, HENRY for
opening a straight forward channel for me to follow.

I shall not wait until eternity to do what must be done because there is no “can't”. Where I come from, I
am as constant as the sun, I do believe that the world is not to blame for my grief and worries. I also think
that no single soul should feel ashamed if my load is heavier than theirs. I bravely walk along a path I
call my own and not a step do I take in fear. “I can” is the name of my song and I will sing it even through
           my tears.

You shouldn't listen to anyone who says “You can't “. I love the inspirational books of people who have
achieved great things by living their dreams no matter what. Imagine what this world would be if there
were no Walt Disney, no Star Wars, no Beethoven Symphonies et cetera. These were created by people
who faced numerous challenges, and rejections and yet refused to listen to the negative people who said,
“You can't “. Or imagine if someone like Winfrey Oprah had listened to the critics instead of her heart.
The world would truly have missed some of its greatest creations and inspirational people, if they had
listened to what people had thought and said about them.

There are many others things I would have wanted to say but if I should continue, I don't think I would
ever stop. My stay in Grundtvig taught me to be determined at all times. My experiences in the school,
the friends I interacted with, my teachers, and my parents, shall forever be in my heart. I had been
discouraged, rejected, turned down and under-rated a lot of times but my doggedness helped me
           surmount them all.

I would like to say a very big thank you to God Almighty for crafting me the way I am. A proverb says,
“If you think you are too small to make a difference, try going to sleep in a mosquito infested room.
As I have said and will continue to say, “No one is too small to make a difference; neither is one too big.
Just believe in your potential and you will surely make a difference.
