When I started life in this school, a graduate of

programmes organized by the school authority, I thought that after five Grundtvig
years of relentless hardwork, I would never make it to the end to be International

The many obstacles, challenges, trusting experiences I encountered
almost made me to give up. But my God fought the battle for me and I
became victorious. In fact, He had said to me, “Go forth my child. You will surely be a graduate of
Grundtvig International Secondary School, Oba”.
I really enjoyed my stay at Grundtvig, even though I was humiliated, punished and criticized by some
overzealous seniors whom I took as my elder sisters when I came to the school newly. Anyway, let me
forget the past and move on. One good thing about Grundtvig is the quality knowledge imparted to me
and my set-mates. I know I have gained a great deal and will never forget my alma mater in a hurry. My
lovely teachers like Mrs. Ezeanya, Mr. Linus, Mrs. Justina, Mrs. Ubah, Mr. Ubah, Mr. Maduka, Mrs.
Nonye Okafor, Mr. Ugochukwu and so on who taught and imparted good moral values and discipline to
me will remain evergreen in my heart. I will remain eternally grateful to my beloved parents, Mr and
Mrs Linus Ugochukwu, who were always there for me, contributed to my happiness and were
responsible for who I am today. I love you so much.
To my wonderful siblings who advised me to always be myself and be a good girl in school, I will never
forget you no matter my situation in life. I love you so very much.
Finally, to everyone in the class of 2019, especially my bosom friends Mimi, Chidimma, Blessing,
Chidera and finally my set mate, Machie, whom I cherish so much, I will never forget you guys.
I give special glory and thanks to God Almighty who made everything possible. Without Him, I don't
know what I would have become. God bless G.I.S.S!!!
