GAME OVER
t is surprising that the journey has finally ended. A journey of six years,
logically 2,191 days. I came here confused, angry and depressed. I was
Ialways looking for a way to leave secondary school and enter the
university through any short-cut but there is no short-cut to success. I was
always scared and silent. Senior students and teachers always gave me
headaches, but as time went on, I found out that it was just a journey and it
would surely come to an end. The only thing that gave me serious hysteria
was knowing that I would be here for six
years. But honestly, this school has made me
act by my name. I can stand to say that I am a I thank everyone

I am also acknowledging my teachers, all the staff of this school
especially Mr. Okolo, who made sure that on Saturdays, we woke up for physical fitness. I also thank

acknowledge the supervisors: Mr. Solomon and Mr. Dominic. It was nice knowing and relating with
you all.
And to my friends and even enemies, because in life you need them, thank you all. I'm hailing my guys
like Elox, Osajiuba, George, Sinaka, Udoh Michael and other pals. Even to my favourite set mates like
Amos, Osuala, Jason, Temi, Vincent, Chidubem, Nnamdi, Ikpe, Ukaigwe, Hillary, Jones, Oparah,
Chidera Agu, Chinasa, Ilemona, Mmesoma, Nwokafor and my other set mates including those who left,
thank you for making school life lively.
I am also thanking the pocket from which my school fees came from. My wonderful parents who stood
by me all these years. I pray that God will bless both of you. I would miss a lot of things in this school:
day-wear, uniform, preps, assembly (so annoying); Ah! dining, the kitchen staff who prepared
wonderful dishes, encouraging teachers, annoying teachers who don't respond to greetings, the
Principal who was like my dad in school, punishments that changed me, Mr. Olugbenga's advice and
commanding voice, Mr. Orkia's company and so many other things; even events like E.F.L., sports
(inter-house), cultural day and so on.
I won't forget this school. It has taught me so many things, both good and bad but I grabbed the good
ones. I thank everyone for the support including the board and the management. I am happy to say
goodbye to this school and I won't fail you. As the saying goes “whatever has a beginning has an
ending.”
I'm done, GAME OVER!
