SUCH IS LIFE
ne thing about life is that there's time for everything. A
time to enter GISS and a time to leave. My first day in the
Oschool was an exciting and a never-to-be-forgotten one.I
was enrolled in this school on 14th September, 2013 as a JSS1
student. All thanks to the
Principal, Mr Munachi Ezenwa
and Mr Nonso Ahanotu, the Vice
Principal then, who encouraged Such is Life. We

SS2 where we underwent prefectship, screening, leadership training
and promotion, examination. It was tough but God saw us through.
I was a boss of my own because I held five different posts. This meant that everywhere I went, I must be
leading one activity or the other. Many might be wondering what posts I had held but I won't waste time
on that. To my successors, I hope you would follow my footsteps and even do better than me. Work
diligently and conscientiously.
I want to appreciate God for the love and mercy He had shown me throughout my secondary school and
for keeping my parents alive to sponsor my education. I also want to thank my parents for being there
for me and for the training they gave me. To my Form Teacher, I say a big 'Thank You'. I know that I
had enormously disturbed you but you never gave up on me. I really appreciate you.
To the class of 2019, I know that we had had so many problems. Having you as my set-mates is
something I would never forget or regret. Our love for music, the fun we had, the way we read and the
commotions we caused, Chai!!!
Such is Life. We shall forever remain the good set the school had known us for, notwithstanding the
temptations, hardship and challenges we had faced. I am grateful to God that my six years in this
school had not been a waste. To my best friend, Mrs Uzoamaka Okafor, my greatest regards. To my
close friends, Lemon, Jay-Jay and Chidera, I'll really miss you.
There were people who made my stay in GISS worthwhile: Blessing, Mmesoma, Ijeoma and
Chidimma, I'll always keep you in my heart. My junior friends like Rejoice, Kita, Chidera, Okike,
Jide, Onyia, Munachi, Ifeanyi Mmesoma and so many others, many thanks. I know that one day, you
would get to write this kind of tribute. Always bear it in mind, that you once met a person like me in
G.I.S.S.
Finally, a jewel is leaving the great GISS. I'm done. Goodbye.
