“We Are Royal Diadems”

Fifteen pupils were received into Year 3 Carnation on Monday 10 September 2018 by their
teachers: Ms. Terkosu and Mr. Jerry. It was a unique experience for the pupils and teachers as well,
owing to the fact that this was a new class for all.

The pupils were inducted into the classroom and they began to receive orientation from both
teachers. The pupils were all excited to be in Year 3, stating that this was the last class in the
lower primary school, among many other reasons.
The pupils in year 3 Carnation are known by the slogan “We Are Royal Diadems”. Both teachers
took the time to explain to pupils that royals always stick to acceptable behaviors, rules and
norms, lead those around them and always show good example to others.

In the course of their stay also, they have been taught to be accountable, out spoken, think
positively, solve problems, work independently and give their best to all they do, even if no one is

watching. The pupils have also been prepared thoroughly for the challenges of the 4 Grade by all
their teachers.
For me, it has been so much joy watching the children grow from 7 to 8 year olds, become more
confident, better at giving their best o assigned tasks, more accommodating and all.

It is therefore with great joy that we will be handing them over to their teachers in the 4 Grade
for the next phase of their lives.
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the parents of Year 3 Carnation 2019/2019 session. You
made the journey easy, interesting and memorable for both our children and us their teachers. The
Lord honour you and make our kids great.

To our pupils, we love and will always love you.
