MESSAGE DOVELAND STARS
The Pioneer
It all started with you…
It is not always easy to break from the "crowd", or “speak” up for someone that you feel
is being mistreated. Don't stay “silent”, for it may be YOU who will hope for someone to
speak up in their behalf.
My dear Year 9 Students, I have tried In the course of our time together to help you
realize that you are filled with enough potential to positively impact your generation in
this ever-changing world. The school year has passed so quickly despite some hard
tasks and rigors that you have encountered in the course of your studies at this level; Brice Kana
Form Tutor Year 9
at the end of it all, you have completed this part of your journey with great
achievements and beautiful memories. Being tough with you at times does not mean that I hated you or your set, but to
prepare you for a greater challenge ahead and to nurture you to build a strong foundation for your next level (Year 10).
My fellow colleagues and I wish to thank you for the enthusiasm you have demonstrated towards your studies; in your
relationship with the teachers, management, other students and above all, among yourselves. Under our guidance, you have
attained this impressive milestone in your life with great honour and dignity.
As you ascend another pedestal, expect that some challenges await you; which of course, I strongly believe going by your
antecedents; the manner you have conducted yourselves these years; the skills and knowledge we have imparted in you so
far, not forgetting the outcome of the reflection you ought to have, you will surely overcome them.
Thank you once again, it was fun being your mentor.
