DOVELAND STARS STUDENTS COUNCIL

OUTGOING CHAIRMAN OF THE PUPILS COUNCIL
OF
DOVELAND INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

My office as the Chairman of Doveland Interna onal
School's Pupils Council required a combina on of
leadership and academic responsibili es. This was huge
but I was able to handle the two effec vely because of
the support I got from fellow councilors and the pupils at
large. I also found the counsel from my teachers
invaluable in the discharge of my du es.

I and my fellow pupils' par cipa on in the school council
offers us an opportunity to have total educa on at
Doveland Interna onal School. The council like other
pupils' fora is an integral part of the school curriculum
which develops our leadership cum socials skills.

Through the council's mee ngs in the school year, we
deliberated on issues bothering on pupils conduct and
responsibili es, pupils-staff rela onship and other
ma ers that relate to the welfare of pupils in Doveland
Interna onal School. We expressed views and took
decisions that contributed to the school's leadership and
success.

Par cipa on in Doveland Interna onal School Pupils'
Council was indeed an experience that equipped me and
other Doveland stars with social skills needed also in our post school life.

I thank Doveland Interna onal School for that laudable vision. I will miss you, Doveland Interna onal School.
You were not only a school but also a home to me. I promise to be your good ambassador. Adieu!
