T.I.P. Championships Specifications
Horse Eligibility – To qualify for the Championships, a Thoroughbred must participate in a show offering T.I.P. high point awards, classes or divisions in the applicable discipline between August 1, 2018, and July 31, 2019, have participated in the 2018 T.I.P. Performance Awards in the applicable discipline or have been accepted through a hardship request. Owners and riders must declare their horse for the Championships by submitting a Horse Declaration Form. Each horse may only be entered in one (1) Championship Division. For hunters and jumpers, the horse must be entered at or above the lowest height jumped during the Championship year. For dressage, each horse may enter at or above the lowest level competed in during the Championship year. For Dressage, each horse may entered at or above the lowest level competed during the Championship year. Cross entering is not permitted. A “Thoroughbred” is defined as any horse that has been registered with The Jockey Club or a foreign Thoroughbred stud book recognized by TJC.
Junior – Junior classes and divisions are open to riders under 18 years of age as of 12/18
Junior/Young Rider (applies to Dressage classes only)
– Junior/Young rider classes are open to riders under 22 years of age as of 12/1/18
Hunter, Jumper, Pleasure & Western Championships
Hunter Divisions
500. Crossrails Division – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Trotting is permissible. Fence height 18”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.
501. Very Green Hunter – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Trotting is permissible. Fence height 2’0”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.
2019 New Vocations All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show & T.I.P. Championships
502. Beginning Hunter – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Fence height 2’3”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.
503. Special Hunter – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Fence height 2’6”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.

510. Hopeful Jumper – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Fence height 2’6”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.
511. Suitable Jumper – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Fence height 2’9”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.
512. Schooling Jumper – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Fence height 3’0”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.
