514. Open Jumper – Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Fence height 3’6”. $1,000 in prize money, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place.
506/507. English Pleasure – Junior and Senior Divisions. $1,000 in prize money per division, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place. Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Classes:
English Pleasure W/T – Judged on manners and way of going at the walk and trot.
English Pleasure W/T/C – Judged on manners and way of going at the walk, trot and canter.
English Pleasure Thoroughbred Hack – Judged on the Thoroughbred’s suitability as a pleasure mount, manners and way of going at the walk, trot and canter. Judge will evaluate turnout and may inquire as to race history, with minor blemishes and faults not considered. May be asked to extend trot, halt, turn on the forehand or back.
508/509. Western – Junior and Senior Divisions. $1,000 in prize money per division, with payouts (based on division placement) of: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6% and $50 each 7th through 10th place. Open to qualified Thoroughbreds. Western tack is required. Western headgear permitted in Senior Division only. Protective headgear may be worn without penalty in Senior Division. ASTM/SEI approved helmets must be worn in the Junior Division. Riders may ride one- or two-handed on any bridle. To be judged on the horse’s way of going, obedience and suitability as a Western Pleasure mount. Classes:
Western W/J - To be shown both ways of the ring at the walk and the jog.
Western W/J/L - To be shown both ways of the ring at the walk, jog and lope.
Western Ranch Rail – Open to any Thoroughbred. To be shown individually at the walk, jog and lope both directions of the ring. Horses may be asked to back. To be judged on manners, suitability of horse to rider and performance.
Hunter and Jumper Ribbons, Prizes and Prize Money – Class ribbons 1st through 10th place. Prizes and sashes for divisions through 10th place. Horse and rider combination must compete in both over-fences classes (hunter divisions) or at least two jumper classes (jumper divisions) to be eligible for prize money. All prize money payouts based on division placement.
Pleasure Divisions Ribbons, Prizes and Prize Money – Class ribbons 1st through 10th place. Prizes and sashes for divisions through 10th place. Horse and rider combination must compete in all three classes to be eligible for prize money. All prize money payouts based on division placement.
