Happy New Year! and Welcome to Forensic News Journal! This issue is dedicated to those who work in
forensics that focus on using technology to solve crimes. Crimes could not be solved in an expediate
manner without the use of technology. I would like to introduce Lionel Hagege who is the Founder and

Facepinpoint is a facial recognition platform, designed to pinpoint a user’s intimate pictures published
illegally online. After the images are located, actions can be taken to have them removed, either through
the user’s own legal team or through the platform’s nationwide network of lawyers, to ensure victims get
the justice they deserve. The purpose of this is to erradicate revenge porn, where people post intimate
pictures online without a persons consent, and to help victims seek justice. Lionel is an awesome person
of whom I am happy to know and work with. He is a resounding force to be reckoned with and his passion
to help people is his way of giving back to others who are unable to help themselves in such a serious
